This morning Highland Park IL residents woke up to... surprise!  More snow.  So what to do when it's too cold and snowy to head outside?  There's no shortage of free wonderful options here in Highland Park and  on Chicago's North Shore.Highland Park IL


For grown-ups
- Hit the indoor track at the Highland Park Rec Center to get your heart rate up. 
- Highland Park IL residents can check out a Museum Adventure Pass for free from the Highland Park Public Library for free or discounted entry to some of the areas best museums.
- Visit Borders in downtown Highland Park IL to browse the shelves.  Bring your laptop, grab a latte and take advantage of the free Wi-Fi at Seattle's Best Coffee Cafe.
- First classes for local residents at Healing Power Yoga are free.  Check it out; if you catch the yoga bug and decide to buy a package the same day you'll save 15%.   
- If you are up to the challenge bundle up and go the Heller Nature Center for some cross country skiing or simply enjoy a stroll on the paths.
